Meet Our Staff

Lynette

Optometric Technician

Lynette has been in eye care since 1995 and had joined our practice in 2003.  She has worked alongside Dr. Schied for 20 years and enjoys learning and expanding her knowledge.  In 2009, she studied and took the CPOT exam to become a CPOT(Certified Paraoptometric Technician).  In 2016, Lynette was awarded Paraoptometric of the Year by the Montana Optometric Association. She enjoys building relationships with every patient and has developed many rewarding friendships throughout the years.

Being a lover of animals, Lynette has two cats and two dogs and has adopted many others throughout the years.  In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, sons and daughter.  Lynette enjoys listening to music and attending concerts.  The entire family are big Kansas City Chiefs fans, so if the Chiefs are playing, you will find them cheering on their team together.

Kellie

Front Desk Reception

Kellie has been involved in the medical world in some aspect or another for about 37 years.  She has cared directly for patients as a CNA doing home healthcare, as well as doing all aspects of medical reception.  Kellie joined our practice in December 2022 and is a cheerful smiling person who greets patients in person and on the phone.

Kellie grew up in central Montana with her mom and two sisters.  She graduated from Hobson High School in 1989.  After high school she moved to Billings to attend college at MSU Billings.  After college Kellie met her husband Mel on a blind date, and they have been married 26 years.  During their marriage, she has lived in Ashton, Idaho, Laurel and Great Falls Montana.  They are now back in Billings where it all began.  Kellie has two grown boys, two cats and one energetic boxer.  Kellie and her husband are enjoying their (mostly) empty nest.  In her free time, she enjoys camping, reading, and sewing.
